Fall Competition Archery - Fall 2024

COMPETITION ARCHERY - FALL 2024

WHO: Homeschoolers in grades 4-12 who have previously participated in Flames Competition Archery or Learn Archery programs

WHEN: Saturdays, 60-min heats between 9:00am - 12:00pm, September 21 - November 16

WHERE: Two Rivers Archery Club, 83 Dismal Hollow Rd, Front Royal

COST: $55

Equipment: Flames provides bows and arrows for our archers. Under NASP guidelines, all archers must use Genesis bows. Archers who have a Genesis bow are welcome to bring it to practice, but other bows will not be allowed.

Some archers find that an arm guard is helpful to prevent the bow strings from hitting their arms. This is especially true for double-jointed archers who can lock their elbow out and put their forearm closer to the strings.

Archers should avoid clothing with strings or loose items (including jewelry) that could get tangled in their bow during practice. Closed-toe shoes are required; no sandals or flip-flops.

Please note that in a few months we will open registration for a second season called Winter Competition Archery. This program will run from January 11 to April 26, 2025, and will include more opportunities to compete.
