Age Requirements
Middle School: 11-13
High School: 14-18

NOTE FOR 14 YEAR-OLD BOYS: 
Please register for the Middle School division even if you are a high school student. This age is on the cusp of age eligibility for tournaments and placement will be determined by experience and knowledge of the game. All 14 year olds will be evaluated by a coach and placed on the appropriate roster during the first two weeks of practices.

Uniforms: 
Uniforms will be provided at no extra cost. They must be returned - clean and undamaged - at the end of the season. 

Additional Costs: 
There is a potential for qualification, participation, and travel to larger tournaments. These opportunities will require additional expenses if they become available. As the season progresses, coaches will determine the feasibility of attending such tournaments and keep parents informed.

Fundraising Plans: 
If participation in larger tournaments is deemed feasible, the Program Head and Coaches will support parents who wish to organize fundraising to help cover the cost of tournaments.

Flames Homecoming Dance Fall 2025 - Fall 2025

What to Expect
- Clean pop/country/swing/line-dance music 
- Pre-approved Flames parents will chaperone this event.
- Our photographer, Brianna Orndorff, will be taking photos of the event and special shots in front of a backdrop.
- We will provide  light refreshments.
- Attendees will vote for the following awards at the event: Best Dressed (guy/girl), Best Dancer (guy/girl), Homecoming King/Queen

Dress Code - Semi-Formal
- Gentlemen: slacks, a collared shirt, and a tie (a hat or jacket is welcome but not required).
- Ladies: Pantsuits, dress or a skirt and blouse. The skirt/dress length (including slits in the side or back) should be at your fingertips or longer, and the top must not have a plunging neckline or reveal the midriff. Strapless dresses are acceptable as long as they are modest. Anyone not following the dress code will not be admitted and no refund will be given.
- Ladies and Gentleman may wear dress shoes or clean sneakers in good condition.

Other Info
- Once at the dance, attendees must stay inside the building. Do not come and go from the dance or hang out in the hall/bathrooms. There will be no readmittance.
- Cell phones are permitted into the auditorium; please use respectfully. You may take selfies with friends but do not take someone’s picture without their knowledge and consent. Silence your phone during the dance. You may set it to vibrate in case a parent calls. You may leave your cell phone with a chaperone while dancing.
- Our policy does not allow public displays of affection.

-No weapons of any type. 

- Please make sure your child understands the Code of Conduct (Appendix 2 of the Flames Bylaws).

- If you have an emergency during the event, tell a chaperone immediately and contact your parent/guardian. If medical attention is needed, a chaperone will call for emergency assistance.

Uniforms 
Players have the option to borrow or purchase uniforms. Borrowed uniforms must be returned in clean, undamaged condition at the end of the season, or you will incur a replacement fee.

Tournament
We plan to participate in the Gatlinburg Homeschool Classic National Championship. Our goal is to completely fund this trip by fundraising. 

Fundraising Plans
Each player is expected to sell at least 10 raffle tickets in order to help raise funds for Nationals. 

Players may participate in the Calendar Fundraiser. This is for players to do individually; donations are not tax-deductible and will go directly to the players, who can then use those funds to register and purchase a uniform. Both registration and uniform costs will be covered completely if you have a donor for each day on the calendar.

Note: Games and practices will be recorded for the purpose of live-streaming and saving games on social media. Please pay special attention to the Media Release as you register and contact Amanda Luckey (ad@flameshomeschoolsports.com) with any questions or concerns.

Presentational Flames Jr. Theater visual

Flames Jr. Theater - Fall 2025

We will perform the musical: Yo Ho Ho, A Pirate’s Christmas! on December 12th & 13th. We will meet 2x/week beginning 9/8/25 with auditions. NORMAL Practices; Mon and Tues 6-8 pm. *Actors/actresses will be trying out based on commitment level and preference of Pirate or Claus Family. Once registered, an email will be sent with an audition packet.
